To end homelessness in Calgary.
By January 29, 2018, an individual or family will stay in an emergency shelter or sleep outside for no longer than one week before moving into a safe, decent, affordable home with the support needed to sustain it.
The late Mr. Arthur R. Smith founded the CHF on these values:
- To preserve the dignity of an individual to have a place to call home, a place that is adequate, accessible, safe and affordable.
- To foster respect for people experiencing homelessness.
- To work in collaboration within the Calgary community.
- To advocate social responsibility to address homelessness issues.
