CHF Recommendations for the Alberta Health Act Consultations

Given the intent of the Alberta Health Act to embed key principles in legislation to guide decision-making, we strongly recommend that the critical role of stable housing be recognized in the principles of the Act and that measures be put in place to implement this priority throughout the continuum of health care services.

Project Homeless Connect 9 Matches Homeless Calgarians with Affordable Housing and Support

For the first time at a Project Homeless Connect (PHC), the Calgary Homeless Foundation (CHF), matched affordable housing units with four homeless families and six individuals, who could see permanent housing and support as soon as June 1, 2010.
