Calgary's 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness, more than 2,300 people, including 450 families, received housing and support.

On January 28, agency partners,
all levels of government, businesses, volunteers and clients celebrated this success and the release of the updated 10 Year Plan.

    On March 7, Calgary City Council will vote on a by-law to allow secondary suites in Calgary neighbourhoods. Learn more about the issue and how to contact your Alderman. Please pass this information on to others.

    This year's guest speakers will be Mark Horvath and Sue Marshall.

  • Mark has made it his mission to help people experiencing homelessness have their voices heard through InvisiblePeopleTV and through recently launching the social media project We Are Visible. You can learn more about Mark through his blog.
  • Sue is the Executive Director of the Community Partnership in Washington D.C., and will bring excellent insight on community collaboration and the Homeless Management Information System. Learn more at www.community-partnership.org.

    Thank You

    In early February, a water line broke at our family affordable housing complex, resulting in a full evacuation of tenants. Nine basement suites were damaged. These tenants were provided with temporary accommodations and support.
