It's a New Year with more progress to be made! This year we'll be moving forward by releasing an updated 10 Year Plan, piloting the Homeless Management Information System, hosting another Community Summit, giving people who have experienced homelessness more opportunities to contribute to public policy and program development, acquiring more affordable housing, and much more!
Arthur R. Smith Awards - nominations close January 28
The Arthur R. Smith Awards are back, with $2,000 each available for four front-line staff members and two volunteers! Named after the CHF's founder, these awards honour those who have shown exemplary support of people at risk of or experiencing homelessness. Unlike prior years, the award does not have to go to education. Recipients will be announced at the 2011 Community Summit on March 10. Nominate someone today!

The program will begin in March. Those interested can apply for a $1,200 scholarship until February 21. View details.
