Fundraising for CHF

We can only end homelessness in Calgary with the input of the entire community. If you have an idea for an event, we'd love to help you make it happen!

We want to make it easy for you, your family, community group, services club, student body or business to fundraise on behalf of the CHF. "Community Partner Events," which are designed, managed and financially resourced by participants external to CHF, are a great way to do this. While you plan the event, we are here to answer questions, help you with promotion, and give you guidelines to follow.

A few examples of community partner events are silent auctions, concerts, selling products, and golf tournaments. With all events, a portion or all of the proceeds may be given to the Calgary Homeless Foundation.

Working with CHF on your event or fundraising idea:

  1. Read and complete theĀ Community Partner Event Application and Guidelines (fillable PDF).
  2. Once your event is approved, sign the Community Partner Event Agreement (fillable PDF).
  3. Read our guide on the ins and outs of charitable tax receipting (PDF).
  4. Plan and run a successful event!
