Everyone is welcome to attend!
Don’t miss out on your opportunity to learn more about Calgary’s Updated Plan to End Homelessness, and to give voice to what you can do to make it happen!
Please plan to attend the Great Big Summit. We’re expecting a crowd and you don’t want to miss out on the action! In fact, there will be a Call to Action forum to follow the presentation. There will be a buffet luncheon and after lunch, together we’ll explore implementation and next steps. This not to be missed event will take place on Tuesday March 3, 2015 from 9 am to 2 pm at the Red and White Club (1833 Crowchild Trail NW). We can end homelessness. Together.
Help us light up Alberta.
Until February 16, 2015, like ENMAX on Facebook or follow on Twitter and ENMAX will donate $2 in support of Habitat for Humanity Edmonton and the Calgary Homeless Foundation. #LightingUpAB
Thank You greengate Garden Centre for partnering with Calgary Homeless Foundation and raising awareness, warm clothing and donations this holiday season!
Thank you to all our sponsors and to everyone who attended. Together we have raised not only necessary funds but awareness of the issues of ending homelessness in Calgary.
On April 28 community came together to celebrate our new project – a 30-unit assisted living facility built in partnership with the provincial government and Cedarglen Living. The front of the existing house was transformed by This is My City Art Society. There are renderings of the new building and some of the art from the building now on the construction fencing at 222 15 Ave. SW.
The 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness in Calgary was published in January 2008 and updated in January 2011. We’re updating the 10 Year Plan again and need your input. There are many ways your voice can be heard.
Feedback from the fall 2013 consultations may be viewed in the April 2014 presentation to community.
Email us your comments or questions.
Congratulations to Harry and Irene Simmelink (volunteer), Cheryle Sklapsky (front-line staff at Keys to Recovery) and Sunalta Lodging House Team (front-line team). Read more.
