Extreme Weather Response (EWR)
EWR is a collaborative effort between the City of Calgary, Calgary Homeless Foundation, and numerous organizations throughout the city. The program aims to provide warming spaces throughout the city with capacity for 400 individuals experiencing homelessness at any given time, as well as connection to overnight shelters and resources.

What to Expect at a Warming Centre?
Warming centers are welcoming, safe, and supportive spaces where individuals can access a variety of services including:

Mustard Seed
Offers bagged lunches and snacks, coffee house, warming/drop-in room, light programming,

Extended hours December 1 2024 – March 31 2025: 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily
