Data

The Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) is the richest database on homelessness in Canada. We use it to improve programs and services, creating a unified system of care for people without homes.

We also participate in the Point-in-Time Count, which providers a snapshot of who is experiencing homelessness in Calgary, and Data That Makes a Difference, an annual conference on how data can be used to fight homelessness.
